The wildlife park

In the heart of the 300 hectares of Domaine du Bouchard, nature can be observed, discovered, experienced… and sometimes observes you in return.

Fallow deer, red deer, mouflon, and wild boar roam semi-freely in this vast, protected haven. Around the farmhouse, donkeys, ponies, horses, geese, ducks, rabbits, and chickens add rhythm to daily life. And in the sky or the undergrowth, foxes, genets, weasels, and majestic birds of prey—short-toed eagles, buzzards, kites, golden eagles, griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, or bearded vultures—are at home. Here, you are privileged guests.

With your hosts or independently, you will have the opportunity to get up close to these animals! It's a truly immersive experience that we offer you in our cottages in the heart of a wildlife park!

Feeding the animals

By reservation and voluntary contribution (a small donation box awaits you in the 4x4), you can accompany the zookeeper during feeding time. A special moment, up close to the animals.

As places are limited, we sometimes have to choose among those registered. Whenever possible, we give priority to guests staying in cottages outside the park, people with reduced mobility, families with young children, and guests of the Tramontane cottage. We always do our best to ensure this remains fair and considerate.

You can bring dry bread, fruit, vegetables, or corn: they will be more likely to come to you.

An immersive experience

Here, you don't just visit a park, you experience it. Watching a deer at dawn, encountering a fallow deer along a path, or gazing up at a bird of prey in full flight… every encounter is authentic, unique, and memorable.

Take your time, walk slowly, keep your eyes wide open: nature appreciates discretion.
